Project measures: Implementation of an accompanying measure to support the successful establishment of Development Bank Ghana (DBG)’s business model as the national development bank in Ghana

Requested Consultant services:

The presumed duration of the project is 36 months. The tasks of the Consultant are summarized in the following work packages:

Work Package 1: Provision of a senior resident advisor to DBG: Provision of an experienced senior advisor to sit with the management of DBG in order to provide support and advice.

Work Package 2: Training and capacity building at DBG: Provision of training and capacity building to DBG staff regarding e.g., Business Development Services and credit analysis.

Work Package 3: Training at the PFIs: Implementation of a needs analysis, preparing according training materials and carrying out training courses.

Work Package 4: Framework conditions for lending to MSMEs: Analyse existing hurdles to MSME lending and define according solutions.

The Expression of Interest (pre-qualification) is subject to the regulations contained in the Guidelines for the Procurement of Consulting Services, Works, Goods, Plant and Non-Consulting Services in Financial Cooperation with Partner Countries available at www.kfw-entwicklungsbank.de. The contract will be awarded to an independent Consultant firm with proven experience in the sector and the region and a minimum average annual turnover of EUR 2.5 million (2017-2019).
