The Government of Ghana (GoG) is the sole shareholder of the PSC Tema Shipyard Company Ltd a private limited liability company established under the laws of Ghana (“the Company”). The Company is mainly engaged in shipyard, drydock and related activities and owns various assets together constituting the shipyard (‘the Shipyard”).

Public Input into the 2016 Budget Statement and Economic Policy

SUPPLY CONTRACT NOTICE, Equipment for water weed harvest and large scale composting plant

The objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness of the Ghana's banana export industry through the provision of composting equipment for organic conversion. The composting plant will roughly use two hectares of stabilized land to transform yearly 25,000 cubic metres of raw vegetable material into compost. It will also contribute to remove reeds, alluvium, and other aquatic weeds invading the neighbouring lake. Equipment supplies will have to be provided Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) at the Volta River Estate Ltd banana plantation which is located 60 kilometres North of the port of Tema, on the Tema-Akosombo main road.

SUPPLY CONTRACT PRIOR INFORMATION NOTICE - Supply of equipment for warehouse receipt system

10th EDF - The Trade Related Assistance and Quality Enabling Programme (TRAQUE) - One of the new tasks given to TRAQUE is supporting the development of a warehouse receipt system for tradable agricultural commodities. A number of selected warehouses will be upgraded with weighing equipment to provide credible measurements, with small quality control laboratories to support the correct grading of commodities, as well as with IT equipment for operations.
