A Joint Response for Better Development Results
The Government of Ghana and the MDBS Development Partners convened on 16th, 17th and 19th May, 2011 to assess overall performance of the national development framework, as well as progress against the 2010 indicators of the MDBS Policy Matrix.
The Joint Review also deliberated on selected strategic cross-cutting issues with significant macroeconomic and budgetary implications. These included Public Sector Management Capacity, Oil and Gas Coordination and Revenue Management and Ensuring Equitable Development.
Discussions on these issues are intended to inform the MDBS policy dialogue and potentially influence future targets/indicators' selection.
Participants included Ministers, Ambassadors, senior level officials of Government and Development Partners, representatives of Civil Society Organizations and the media.
